This ios a special feature to register the relative area of certain color nuances.
It works on still images only. Capture or load an image
Click “Mark” – the result will automatically be copied onto the clipboard.
Some parameters can be adjusted to hit the perfect color segmentation. Use Mark – Undo – Mark …, until the segmentation looks correct.
The image can be segmented into two classes, blueish and reddish.
The segmentation is done by defining the ratio of red to blue color (R/B).
•The first parameter, the one with the ‘B/R ≥’, is the blueish color (purple in this example). The color chooser, next to the value box, is just the color that is assigned to the class, it can be set to any color. In the above example, this class is all pixels with a r/B ratio less than 1.33.
•The second parameter, the one with the R/B ‘≥’, is the reddish color (orange in this example). The color chooser, next to the value box, is just the color that is assigned to the class, it can be set to any color. In the above example, this class is all pixels with a r/B ratio greater than 1.15.
